A virtual number is a telephone number without a directly associated phone line. Often, a virtual phone number is programmed to route directly to a selected phone number selected by the customer — this can vary between a fixed office phone, a mobile phone, or a VOIP phone. Virtual phone numbers are usually able to use existing phone lines and hardware without the need to upgrade the current system.
Unite’s Hosted PBX solution is VOIP (Voice-Over IP) based. This solution offers clients a virtual phone number as a solution for businesses looking to decrease hardware costs, improve efficiency, and move into the modern day communications setting. The use of Unite’s Hosted PBX system can also cut down on long distance calling costs.
